What YFC means to me:

 

I have been a member of Neath Young Farmers since 2010, having been a member of Tiers Cross YFC in Pembrokeshire since the age of 12. Throughout my time with young farmers I have gained so much - I have learnt skills such as public speaking, stock judging, flower arranging, acting, singing, dancing and more.

I have taken part in competitions I would never even consider doing usually, and have received training such as First Aid, Food Hygiene and more. I have made friends for life through YFC, and have most importantly – had so much fun while taking part in young farmers activities, competitions and socials. Without YFC I would be a completely different person – I am now a confident, outgoing person who will have a go at anything!! I’d recommend young farmers to anyone and everyone.
